頂き物のAurex SB-420 その2

昨日の記事をご覧くださいました トラネコQ3 さんがネタをくださいましたので、それを今日の記事にしてみました。

Aurex SB-420のスピーカ保護についてです。

この時代の流行だったのでしょうか、このアンプの上蓋にはいろいろと説明書きが印刷されています。このおかげで背面のピンレイアウトも上蓋を見ただけでわかるのですが、「Speaker protecting device」(原文は全部大文字)として以下のように記載されています。

The special circuit breaker to protect the output stage against short circuit of the speaker terminals and also the speakers against abnormal circuit action is provided in this unit.If you notice that the cuicuit breaker is activated,check the cuircuit carefully after turn off the Power Switch. Then depress the Speaker Protector Button and finally turn on the Power Switch.

裏側はどうなっているかと言うと、

爪を起こせば中身も確認できそうですが止めておきました...(期待されていた方はごめんなさいね)。
